Since December 2023, serving as the Digital Librarian for the Global South Alliance, the individual graduated with an Engineering degree in 2017 from Addis Ababa University and received a master’s degree in Electoral Policy and Administration from Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies in 2023. With past experience as a Research Assistant for Cornell University’s Policy Analysis and Management, a Digital Technology Trainer for the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), and a Consultant for Digital Empowerment and Technology at UN Women, the person has a proven track record in various roles within the digital landscape. Until February 2023, they were the Founder and Executive Director of Indigenous Innovation and EIA, actively contributing as a digital rights advocate. Currently, they also volunteer for DrfDotNgo, showcasing continued dedication to the digital rights cause.
