PhD in Commercial Law and Master in Civil Law at the Faculty of Law of the University of São Paulo. He was a study visitor at the Personal Data Protection Department of the European Data Protection Board / EDPB and the Council of Europe, a visiting researcher at the Research Center for Law, Technology and Society at the Faculty of Law of the University of Ottawa. He is the author of the book Personal Data Protection: The Role and Limits of Consent. He is a member of the Latin American Network of Studies on Surveillance, Technology and Society / LAVITS, and also of the International Association of Privacy Professionals – IAPP, with CIPP / E. He is the founding director of Data Privacy Brasil, an intersection between a school of courses and a research association in the area of privacy and data protection.
